My name is Danielle.  I am the owner and creator of Awaken Wild Adventures.  I have a strong passion for the outdoors and the many gifts given in spending time with yourself outside.  I grew up in rural southwest Wisconsin- a young girl on a farm.  These years shaped much of who I am, only understanding in adulthood how important nature is.     From this, Awaken Wild Adventures was born.  Getting people outside to safely explore the beauty of nature, tackling life issues while in motion is a powerful experience.  I  will aid in logistics, gear and safety concerns that hinder people from getting out there.  Whether you are prepping for a thru- hike or just looking for a wander with friends and everything in between, I'm here for it!       I am an ultra runner, wilderness first responder trained in adult CPR as well as care of injury and illness in remote and challenging areas.
